ACCOUNT MANAGER – MARKETING

 

ROLE DESCRIPTION

As an Account Manager, you will lead the delivery of the company’s marketing and communications offerings in branding, digital and social media to our clients. You should be an experienced, broadly capable team, project and account leader who handles a wide range of assignments, projects and/or clients with a high degree of success and independence.

You will develop strong client relationships and be considered a competent project leader. You will have demonstrated high-level professional knowledge and skill. You are able to manage client accounts with limited supervision as well as develop other, less experienced team members. You will also have strong project management, budgeting, communication and business development skills and demonstrated success in building business and people.

 

 

GENERAL

You will…

Keep up to speed with current developments in the digital/social marketing sphere and recognise/implement new innovations and opportunities that can be of value to clients.

Develop and nurture leads and business relationships through attendance and participation in digital/social conferences, workshops, training programmes and other opportunities.

Have the confidence and support of client contacts and strong relationships within the client’s organisation.

Be a recognised as a strategic thinker who regularly adds value for our clients.

Be fully competent in leading/directing a number of key client accounts of strategic importance to the company.

Be regarded by the client as the primary point of contact and be competent in managing the relationship with the client.

Lead the development of client proposals to a high standard, as defined by the practice manager.

Direct and oversee the implementation of the day-to-day client accounts leading to the achievement of client communications objectives.

Be responsible for developing dyjaho’s communications plans for client accounts and understand and track clients business and Marketing & PR objectives.

Design and where necessary execute Marketing & PR campaigns that meet client objectives and demonstrate a thorough understanding of the relevant industry environment.

Lead client contact in a competent, professional, positive and appropriate manner maintaining their respect/confidence at all times.

Have full knowledge of the range of resources available throughout the company and understand how these can be best applied on behalf of clients.

Be a competent writer, capable of producing written material and documentation to meet deadlines.

 

 

FINANCIAL & ADMIN

Be a fully proficient financial negotiator and consistently demonstrate the ability to drive revenue for the company leading to the achievement of company financial targets.

Manage time effectively for optimum productivity and billability.

In relation to your accounts, ensure that all internal systems and processes are adhered to in full. These include timesheets, invoicing and diary.

 

 

PERSONAL INITIATIVE

Exemplify solid teamwork.

Consistently identify and pursue opportunities to enhance involvement in, and contributions to your accounts, teams, and dyjaho as a whole.

Demonstrate proficiency, and support the practice manager in managing company resources.

Participate actively in team, staff and client meetings.

Proactively seek and share information with colleagues and clients.
